Victory Points are a new system that determine whether the player wins or loses a game if a certain amount of victory points are gained (either by the player himself or the AI opponent). There are 2 types of victory points: dynamic and permanent ones. Dynamic ones can be gained and lost during the game, whilst permanent ones will remain in the hands of one player or AI opponent for the remainder of the game upon obtaining it.

Beneath is a list of all victory points in the game.

Trading Company[]

As long as your Traders have established at least 5 Trading Outposts and more than your opponents, this Victory Point is yours. In case of a tie, it remains with the original owner.

You'll need to hire Traders in your Export Office and let them establish new Trading Outposts.

Sun King[]

As long as your Prestige Level is at least 5 and higher than your opponents', this Victory Point is yours. In case of a tie, it remains with the original owner.

You can increase your Prestige by constructing Prestige Object or Prestige Extensions, researching 'Ornamentalism', conquering neutral territories or establishing special Trading Outposts.

Metropolis[]

As long as the size of your working population is at least 25 and greater than your opponents', this Victory Point is yours. Incase of a tie, it remains with the original owner.

You'll need to build necessary accommodation for your settlers.

Field Marshal[]

As long as your army consists of 20 or more soldiers and is bigger than your opponents', this Victory Point is yours. In case of a tie, it remains with the original owner.

Recruit soldiers in your Stronghold or the Tavern, or buy Cannons at the Foundry.

Emperor[]

As long as your realm spans at least 3 Sectors and more than your opponents', this Victory Point is yours. In case of a tie, it remains with the original owner.

Conquer Sectors with your soldiers, let your Traders bribe Camps with Coins or use your Clerics to proselytise them.

Banker[]

As long as you own at least 25 Coins and more than your opponents', this Victory Point is yours. In case of a tie, it remains with the original owner.

You can either rely on a Mint, sell Beer to the Tavern, or trade with a Marketplace, Port or Mobile Trader.

Fountain of Knowledge[]

As long as you've researched at least 3 Technologies and more than your opponents, you own this Victory Point. In case of a tie, it remains with the original owner.

You'll need to recruit clerics in your Church and let them research Technologies.

Generalissimo[]

Prove yourself as the greatest commander. With your armies, gain this Victory Point by defeating at least 20 of the enemy (not neutral soldiers) and more than your opponents. In the case of a tie, the Point remains with the original owner.

Recruit soldiers in your Stronghold or the Tavern or buy Cannons in the Foundry.

Note: Only kills from player vs player battles count. Neutral forces and killing quest minions do not count towards this Victory Point. Furthermore, units killed by turrets also do not count towards this Victory Point.

Abbey[]

Be the first to upgrade your Church to an Abbey to earn yourself this Victory Point.

You'll have to unlock the corresponding Prestige Options.

Pacifist[]

Go without attacking any enemies for 10 minutes, and for longer than your opponents to earn this Victory Point.

Defend your sectors against enemy attacks by building fortifications and use Proselytism or Bribery to conquer new sectors.

Economist[]

As long as your economy's overall efficiency is at least 75% and higher than your opponents', this Victory Point is yours.

In case of a tie, it remains with the original owner. Optimise your economy by finding the ideal ratio of workyards or improving your infrastructure.

Special Sector[]

Conquer and hold the Town Sector to get this Victory Point.

Conquer Sectors with your Soldiers, let your Traders bribe Camps with Coins or use your Clerics to proselytise them.

Note: The "Town Sector" changes with every map.

Genius[]

Be the one to research the Special Technology to earn yourself this Victory Point.

You'll need to recruit clerics in your Church and let them research Technologies.
